The Passion for Music
Sami-Haddad (3)

“The desire, passion and love of music drove me to establish this business and to produce musical instruments” Sami said.

Sami Haddad is one of the youth of the city of Ajloun, Haddad commenced since a year and a half ago to produce musical instruments be presented as a special product to music training centers where his love of music was crowned by the production of the Spanish instrument “Cajun” and mustered this love through “Dom Tak” for the production of musical instruments from wood.

Sami came up with an idea that nothing can stop him, due to the conditions where Ajloun is clasified as the poorest and with the highest unemployment rate.

Through “AZEM” Project which is supported by UNICEF and implemented by BDC, Eng. Sami Haddad presented the first project at the level of the Arab World that is specialized in the production of musical instruments.

I came to know about “AZEM” through BDC and I received direct support enabling me to establish a factory for the production of musical instruments.

With the efforts of “AZEM” Eng. Sami Haddad presented the first project at the level of the Arab World that is specialized in the production of musical instruments whose echoes spread in the spaces of our homeland to the various countries of the world as a vintage Jordanian industry.

Haddad commenced since a year and a half ago to produce musical instruments to be presented as a special product to music training centers and artists where his love of music was crowned by the production and development of the Spanish instrument “Cajun”. And just as the glorious Rabad citadel of Ajloun was on a tryst with a beautiful symphony composed with the will of its inhabitants, its tunes flying high through the determination probing for a solid road to the future, BDC was a supporter of the youth energies and a listener to the youths’ aspirations.

Eng. Sami Haddad loved music since childhood and mustered this love to serve his community through “Dom Tak” for the production of musical instruments from wood constituting special artistic artifices embodying valuable societal messages.

Sami Haddad is one of the youth of the city of Ajloun, who took from Jilad the old name of the city the robustness of the idea and the determination to proceed with it, whereupon he established a small factory for eastern and western musical instruments, the first of its kind in the Kingdom, and among the few in the Arab World, and he conformed with his passion for playing music which he spread.

It occurred to the mind of Sami that standing still for the youth is unwise conduct and will not achieve a decent living, in the shadow of conditions which caused his governorate to be classified as the poorest and with the highest unemployment rate in Jordan. Hence, he decided to move, and the start was identifying a supporting and funding quarter namely BDC in whose projects and courses he enrolled= which foster the establishment of small projects. He decided to present the idea of his project to “AZEM” project, and build a future for himself by opening a shop focusing on the production of musical instruments.

I came to know about “AZEM” through BDC and I received direct support enabling me to establish a factory for the production of musical instruments such as drums and also western instruments such as the Spanish Cajun on which he is presently working. He started its production one and a half years ago.
