Overview

The ISAA Project is designed to combat youth unemployment in Jordan by implementing Job Search Clubs (JSCs), an innovative methodology providing intensive job search support. The program targets young job seekers, including Jordanians, Syrian refugees, and non-Jordanians, across multiple Jordanian governorates.

The project also focuses on ensuring sustainability through the training of facilitators from the Ministry of Youth from Universities. Additionally, a consultant will be engaged to develop an institutionalization plan for integrating the methodology within the Ministry of Youth’s activities.

  • The Job Search Clubs (JSCs) duration is 14 sessions over 3 weeks or more.
  • The project is implemented in partnership with both Ministry of Youth and Universities.
  • The total number of JSCs conducted is 97.
  • The total number of beneficiaries is 2295.
  • Number of facilitators trained from MoY is 143 and from the Universities is 39 (total is 182).
  • Project name needs to be unified as ISAA.
