The Economic Development for Self-Employment Program was launched in response to the severe economic impact of COVID-19 in Jordan. The program targets young people, women, and vulnerable communities, aiming to create sustainable job opportunities and support local economic growth.
Through partnerships with community-based organizations (CBOs), micro and small enterprises (MSEs), and home-based businesses (HBBs), the program provides financial grants, training, advisory services, and marketing support. The initiative focuses on self-employment and entrepreneurship, particularly in rural areas, to empower women and youth while fostering economic resilience.
