Empowering Jordanian Youth Through Education and Skills Development

BDC has welcomed visits from four Prime Ministers, either at its offices or during field visits to its beneficiaries.

His Majesty King Abdullah II and Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II

launched the National Self-Employment Program "Inhad" in 2019 to empower Jordanian youth by promoting self-employment through intensive training, accessible financing, and initiatives like the Ajloun Business Incubator, visits to beneficiaries such as the Platinum Cup Factory, and awareness sessions, while also honoring UNICEF's Inhad and Azam programs during the Silver Jubilee, all in alignment with His Majesty's vision to create sustainable job opportunities and long-term economic growth.

Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah

Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah highlighted the "Sanad Program" at Zarqa University College for empowering students to create job opportunities and the "Maharat Program" at the Business Development Center for equipping recent graduates with practical skills and workplace integration.

His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II

His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II visited a productive project in Dhiban District of Madaba Governorate. The project, owned by a young entrepreneur who benefited from the National Self-Employment Program "Inhad," exemplifies the program’s impact. During his visit to a fish farming and fattening project in the Wadi Al-Wala area, His Royal Highness emphasized the significance of such productive initiatives, which create job opportunities for the Kingdom’s youth. His Royal Highness highlighted the importance of fostering a culture of self-employment and establishing productive projects across various sectors to achieve economic development.
