“A beauty salon is the way out” Marwa and Buraq said.

Marwah and Buraq Hazza`, Syrian refugees from Al-Azraq, their story started since they participated in “MADAD” Project which is supported by European Union and implemented by BDC, and enrolled in life skills course. Marwah describes these courses as follows: “These courses have given me the necessary skills for any business owner, to achieve my dream and establish a beauty salon for women.

Buraq adds: “Every woman should be independent. This is my advise to every woman.”

Buraq told us about the challenges she faced during the pandemic, which drove her to attend an intensive course in cosmetics.

The story of Marwah and Buraq started since they participated in “MADAD” Project where they joined it directly because Marwah is seeking to obtain a job opportunity, and thus enrolled in life skills course. Marwah describes these courses as follows: “These courses have given me the necessary skills for any business owner, made me capable of starting my business, and taught me how to deal with customers while bolstering my self-confidence, to achieve my dream and establish a beauty salon for women.

Buraq adds: “After all this development, I now see that every woman must rely on herself, improve her talents and capabilities, and strive to achieve her dreams. This is my advise to every woman.”

Buraq told us about the challenges she faced during the pandemic and its impact on her business, which drove her to attend an intensive course in cosmetics as a profession.
