BDC has successfully implemented a women entrepreneurship workshop for 160 women entrepreneurs in 9 villages in Madaba. The program includes two phases:
o Phase 1: creating backward linkages markets where there is significant demand for the products, locally and regionally, including a product exhibition, to “reserve a seat” in the market place for talented women business owners. The second phase business development upgrading and recycling local trades and products, innovating old traditions and creating new professions.
o Phase 2: introducing new techniques in making vocational products and focuses on giving participants entrepreneurial competencies and management skills in the context of certain sectors, facilitating the businesses in reaching their target market, actively responding to market demand and increasing their selling and marketing techniques.
