BDC manages the Bader LIFE initiative, it is a unique program based on the LIFE curriculum “Learning Initiative for Entrepreneurs” designed by Hewlett-Packard HP and the Micro-Enterprise Acceleration Institute (MEA-I) in Switzerland, which is an entrepreneurship training program utilizing technology. The main objective of this program is to facilitate the process of starting a business using simple IT tools, covering essential topics relevant for any start-up; communication, marketing, operations and finance. There are five stages in this program starting from a basic level of the four mentioned topics and ending with an advanced level:

Imagine – Plan – Start – Grow – Innovation

The program is divided into two phases: the first is the Training of Trainers (TOT) component where selected participants undergo a virtual online training composed of 9 units followed by a 3-day workshop delivered by a master trainer in order to become certified LIFE trainers for the Baader program. The second phase is the End User component where selected certified trainers from the first phase deliver the program to students and/or alumni over a 4 day period on selected topics and levels depending on the end users’ business and IT background.
In association with the Vocational Training Cooperation (VTC) during the first phase we have trained 40 teachers who are now certified LIFE trainers and 50 students in vocational centers from three different governorates Karak, Al-Salt and Greater Amman.
